General:
I have been playing baseball for about 14 years. Growing up in juniors I played all positions, but for the last 5 years I have been catching and playing outfield. I have received many junior awards for my local club which I wont make mention about in my resume.
Junior Career:
Played for South Africa in 2000 (u/12) in Sao Paoulo, Brazil and in 2005 (u/16) in Taiwan.
I represented my province every year since age 9.
Played in our club’s senior side from age 15 and have been a starter ever since I have entered.
Senior Career:
2007
Represented my country at a senior level for the first time in the African Baseball Cup in which we received gold medals.
2008
Played in the Olympic Qualifiers in Taiwan where we played amongst 10 countries.
2009
Played in the World Baseball Classic. We played against Cuba, Mexico, Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Athletics and a local college.
Went to try outs with the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates.
