JB Tucker
My name is JB Tucker. I am a 27 year old catcher who is looking to play in Holland for the 2010 season. I have played 5 years of professional baseball, parts of 3 seasons with the Seattle Mariners and 3 seasons of Independent league.
I reached as high as Hi A, and I won a championship there. My first season I led the Northwest League in slugging percentage and was third in home runs.
I am also a very good defensive catcher. I consistently throw a 1.9 to second base and I am very accurate. I always have a good rapport with my pitching staff and get the most out of their ability.
I was an all-star 2 out of the 3 years I played independent league. I also set many league records in the American Association. My manager for the last 2 years in Texas was Pete Incaviglia, and he can give you a recommendation if you need one.
During all of my off seasons, I have been a coach at a very accredited baseball facility, IMG academies, in Bradenton Florida. I would be more than willing to help the teach the younger Dutch players to spread my knowledge of the game and encourage their desire to play.
