My name is Tom Buckler. I graduated in 2005 from high school. I had many division 1 looks coming out of high school and professional offers but I hurt my elbow in the district championship. I stayed at home because I was getting my surgery in november of 2005 with dr Andrews in Alabama. That year I rehabbed from november til june and I played in a local summer league playing outfield while rehabbing. I batted a 425 throughout the season.

I decided to play for the school (Wilkes University) I was attending while I did my rehab. I started pitching for them as the number 1 my freshman year in 2007. We won the conference and went to regionals. I was named freedom conference MVP. In playoffs I was 2-0 with a 1.42 era.
This year I stayed at the same school and played for them again. In 51.1 innings pitched, I had 44 strike outs, 12 walks in twelve appearances with a 4.91 era. The era was high, but one bad start at the beginning of the season bumped it up.

As for the season ended off friday throwing 89-90. Trainers said it was due to the surgery that I am finally getting back to where I was in high school. My last start I threw 7 innings with 12 strike outs and the game before I threw 5 scoreless innings with 8 strike outs.
I have been receiving phone calls from some scouts about the draft. I met with Yankees, Padres and the scouting bureau. I do not want to sign in the draft because I am looking to play in another league and get out of the USA to play ball for a few years.
